Tattoo Artist
Charlie is a tattoo artist working in Portland, Oregon. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Charlie grew up in upstate New York, returning to Portland in 2013 to pursue a career in tattooing. His love for drawing developed as a child, which sparked an interest and passion for the industry. Being the son of an artist and a musician enabled and encouraged him, from an early age, to be creative. His love of the outdoors, animals and music have shaped him as an artist and are often reflected in his work. Apart from tattooing, Charlie accepts commissions for artwork and illustrations, some of which are featured on, but not limited to t-shirts, fliers and product labels for bands, brands and companies.
Style — Charlie's favorite style to work in is neotraditional, or anything illustrative, but is willing to take on a variety of projects. Though, he is comfortable with many styles; bold lines with bright color are most commonly represented in his work. Nature and the human figure, particularly faces, are some of his favorite subject matter, but also loves anything a little wacky. Cryptozoology being among the top of that list. He is always excited to create custom artwork for his clients or work collaboratively on an idea.
Availability —Charlie's rate is $180 an hour. He is available most days of the week and is always happy to do walk-ins, schedule permitting. For larger work, he requires a consultation and deposit.
